The major difference between thinking and feeling. And how our feelings and emotions dictate our life?

So, we think about certain things, and we feel about certain things. Are they both the same. The answer is no. And both of them impact us in more ways and to a greater extent decide as to how we behave and how we live our life.
What we think, is more of an activity of receiving information through our senses, the inputs which happens more so through our conscious mind.
And what we feel, is more of an activity of expressing response to the information received through our senses, it is the interpretation of the information and how we react or respond to the same. And these happens through our subconscious mind.
Our conscious mind has to a greater extent, a limited memory span, and the info within our conscious mind goes off almost every time we sleep. However, our subconscious mind has more long term memory (to the extent of being permanent) and these memories influence our perception, our habits and behavior, our expressions, our life script, and to sum it up, the way we perceive and express our reality.
So, whatever we just think, it is more of a short term occurrence. And whatever we think and feel, that becomes our reality of choice.
How does this influence our life?
When somebody who is a stranger behaves rough with us, we just think and move on and may not feel anything about it. The same if it is our closed one, we feel it, it hurts, and hence it becomes an identity and a relationship factor which determines how we relate with them. Thus, that person becomes a person whom we associate with hurt (till the issue is resolved or there are more positive feelings).
When we think about a goal, we just think about it, maybe share it with a few, and may or may not take action about it. The same if it is associated with some feelings, then there is a higher probability of us acting on it.
What do we do about incidents which we hold with hurt feelings?
It is of prime importance to resolve it within. Techniques like hypnosis, counselling, hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, etc can help. So, can medical system of Homeopathy and also exercises like gratitude exercise, forgiveness exercise, journalling, etc.
How is this connected with most of the healing systems prevalent today?
A lot of healing systems which are based on chanting, incantations, affirmations, etc get associated with our feelings. We repeat certain procedures in an environment which makes us feel comfortable and this comfort is influenced further through support systems and lead to our subconscious directing us to heal our own selves.
How can this be helpful for you now? How can you put this into action?
Find out feelings and incidents which do not serve you, become aware of them and get on to let them go, have the catharsis.
Be aware about your thoughts and feelings, and ensure that you encourage the right feelings to be felt and experienced.
Use the same to feel more and experience more using methods like visualization, etc which will help you and lead you to create the positive reality you expect to live.
