How much time should you exercise?

Exercise is a good method to improve your health. It is one of the best methods of preventive health-care. And, a lot depends upon;
1 What type of exercise your should do?
2 What is the intensity at which you should exercise?
3 How frequently you should exercise?
4 What are the major points you should check in your checklist before you begin any exercise program?
5 And how much time you should exercise?
In this post, I shall discuss about how much time should you exercise?
Every training system has its own timing structure. However, there is a general time rule which is best followed irrespective of the training system you are undergoing, especially if you are training for fat loss. There are a few exceptions to the guidelines shared below.
The general rule is to exercise between 20 minutes to 1 hour.
For most of the people, till 20 minutes of exercise, it is the glucose in the blood that is burnt for energy.
When you exercise less than less than 20 minutes, you just end up burning blood glucose and not the deeply stored fat.
When you exercise for more than more than one hour, you tend to overtrain. You start to burn more tissues and body reserves than what is advisable. It also impacts on your recovery. It can actually cause more harm than good in major instances. And also, if you are exercising with a lot of discomfort, you are over-exerting, and if you are doing it with absolutely no discomfort, then you are in a wrong training program where the intensity or the type of exercise program is mostly wrong.
So, the ideal time frame to exercise is between 20 minutes to one hour.
