Health Guidelines

These are general health guidelines and health tips which will contribute a lot in improving your health.

Always have a good intake of seasonal fruits. They are rich with nutrients required to cope with during that weather.

Drink 2-6 litres of water a day. Sip a minimum of a glass of water every 30 minutes.

Keep your surroundings clean. It reduces a greater amount of environment related diseases.

Never self medicate. Even if you are planning to take the medicine which was prescribed for the last time you had a similar disease condition, check with your doctor. Always take medicines under the supervision of a qualified medical doctor.

Go for regular health checkups. This will help you to prevent the occurrence of major chronic diseases and also help you lead a healthy life.

Get your vital parameters assessed frequently.

Exercise for a minimum of 20 minutes a day and not more than 1 hour at a stretch. Exercising less or more than this duration is not medically approved and can cause serious health risk.

Always have food at proper timings. Never skip breakfast.

Eat in moderation. Do not stuff yourself with unhealthy food. Rather, go for salads, fresh fruit juices, etc.

Whenever you consult a doctor, tell all information regarding your present illness, your general health condition, your lifestyle and occupation, your treatment history and health history of your previous illnesses and your family history. These are vital information which will make your treatment easier and effective.

Ask for all possible treatment plans from your doctor. Also ask for suggestions of other treatment options of other medical systems. Then make your decision of choosing a plan of treatment.

After finishing every visit, ask and collect from your doctor, a guidelines sheet which should have the information of, your medication and treatment plan, recommended food and drinks, recommended lifestyle and rest, and other do’s and don’ts.

Prevention is always better than cure.

Meditate for at least 15 minutes a day.

When consulting with a doctor or a health-care practitioner, do feel free to ask about the qualifications and experiences of the consultant.
