Three questions for which you need to know the answers regarding your water intake.

What is the optimum level of water you need to drink?
How can and should you drink it? 70% of human body is made up of water.
Water clears up the major toxins in the body.
Water helps to build up and maintain the health level and immunity level.
Water soluble vitamins are digested by water.
Water acts as a transport vehicle within the body.
Adequate water intake is necessary, else important organs like kidneys, etc will have lots of complications.

So, are you hydrating properly? Are you having a proper water intake?

What is the optimum level of water you need to drink? A good calculation is 3-5% of your total body weight. If you weigh 100 kgs, then your water intake should be in the range of 3 to 5 litres per day. If you weigh 50 kgs, your water intake should be 1.5 to 2 litres per day.

How can and should you drink it? How to see to it that you maintain your water intake in a healthier manner? Spread your water intake throughout the day. Drink one to two glasses of water every hour in such a way that you have an intake which matches your water intake needs. If you have to drink more water, drink frequently. Do not leave huge gaps of time between your water intake schedules.
